Despre Musi

Alexandrina Remescu-Simo (Musi) este arhitect si creatoarea MusiDesign, un proiect de bijuterie contemporana care investigheaza relatia dintre arhitectura, corp si materialitate.
Practica sa exploreaza posibilitatile cimentului ca material purtabil, tratat ca un limbaj arhitectural in miniatura.

Fondat in 2020, MusiDesign propune bijuteria ca spatiu construit la scara redusa, unde principiile arhitecturale: volum, ritm si echilibru, sunt traduse in obiecte minimale, cu o prezenta puternica.

Fiecare piesa functioneaza ca un fragment arhitectural, purtator de sens si materialitate.

Piesele sunt realizate din ciment si bronz, cu o atentie riguroasa pentru detaliu si proces, punand in dialog mestesugul bijuteriei cu o gandire arhitecturala contemporana.

In 2024, Musi si-a aprofundat practica prin studiile in bijuterie contemporana urmate la Assamblage Jewelry School, sub indrumarea profesorilor Andreia Gabriela Popescu si David Sandu, extinzand dimensiunea conceptuala si tehnica a demersului sau artistic.

 

Alexandrina Remescu-Simo (Musi) is an architect and the founder of MusiDesign, a contemporary jewelry project exploring the intersection of architecture, the body, and materiality. Her practice investigates cement as a wearable medium, approached as an architectural language in miniature.

Founded in 2020, MusiDesign conceives jewelry as a constructed space at a reduced scale, translating architectural principles such as volume, rhythm, and balance into minimal objects with a strong visual and material presence. Each piece functions as an architectural fragment, bridging structure and ornament.

Crafted from cement and bronze, the works emphasize process, material experimentation, and precision, bringing together contemporary jewelry practice and architectural thinking. In 2024, Musi expanded her artistic and technical approach through studies in contemporary jewelry at Assamblage Jewelry School, under the guidance of Andreia Gabriela Popescu and David Sandu.
